My notes are a lifelong body of work
I consider my notes to be a lifelong body of work. The benefits of note taking are very high (see The importance and value of note taking for me). Additionally, there is not a large number of endeavors that I can put energy into that can have a guarantee of being a lifelong project.
Therefore, my notes warrant a high investment. It's worthwhile to put care and time into both writing and organizing / tending to the garden of my notes.
Further thoughts:
- I have over 8k notes
- Discovered Zettelkasten in early 2021
- I already had a strong writing habit
- 8k notes and counting
- Small changes make it all work more for me
- Now, applying to sharing too
- Recently moved from Bear to Obsidian
