Bear tags structure
This is how I approach, and the current version, of my Bear tags setup for the purposes of ยง My note taking system.
Overall approach
Have a set number of top-level parent tags, and specify here what type of note each represents, or whether it has some other type of use.
- buffer - Categories
- clipping - Clippings
- daily - need to remove
- date - Specify a date for the note when useful. For Fleeting notes only
- journal - Fleeting Notes
- personal - Categories
- tag - Tags
- topic - Topic Notes
Categories - limited to 2 levels of hierarchy, after top level.
- i.e. buffer -> reviews -> 2018, or buffer -> product -> feedback

To add:
- meeting - Fleeting Notes
- scratchpad - Fleeting Notes
These are absolute top level tags:
- Topic
- Tag
- Date
- Clippings
And these are additional / multiples:
- buffer - Category
- personal - Category
- journal - Fleeting
- meeting - Fleeting
- scratchpad - Fleeting
