Articles and Posts are published moments in time of notes

Within § My note taking system and § My digital garden, I have the concept of Articles and Posts.
Whereas my notes use the digital garden paradigm of inter-connected pages, Articles and Posts use the paradigm of feed-based content organized by publish date.
I’ve set up my system so that I can blend these two paradigms. My notes are always evolving and subject to change, whereas over time I create Articles and Posts which capture and freeze a moment in time. Generally these pieces of content are offshoots of Topic Notes or Outline Notes, and they may be edited or adjusted to account for the audience they are intended for. Once they are Articles or Posts, they have a publish date and belong in a separate section of my website.
Articles and Posts are what I share more regularly with my audience, whereas notes are always my work in progress. I may share a note when an opportunity to link to something very specific comes up, but this is the exception, whereas Articles and Posts are more akin to published works which I am intentional about distributing and promoting.
