Reflections on reading, clipping and sharing

Up: ยง Content creation and distribution

When reading content, if I am going to benefit in the future from that content, then I should have in mind the current general topic areas I am interested in. When I read something, I should clip it if it relates to one of those topic areas. For example, I am interested in non-traditional funding and long-term independent companies. If I read content that relates to this, I should clip it. More importantly, when I clip it and store it in Clippings, I should then connect it to my networked notes by thinking about which of my Topic Notes that quote or article relates to.

By being intentional in what I read, what I choose to store in Clippings, and in ensuring what I save in my notes is connected with other notes, I will get a lot of value over time from the reading I do.
