Ask Questions rather than Asking For Questions
Often as leaders we share a thought or a change we want input on, but after doing all the hard work of putting together our idea, we simply end it with āIād love to hear any questions that come to mind!ā or similar, and many times this results in few replies. This often makes it hard for people to actually share their thoughts. Instead, if we reflect on specific questions to ask that the reader can see and immediately think of answers to, we can get much more engagement and input. Additionally, as the author, this can help make the responses more targeted to the input you actually need in order to move something forward.
